Espace Annexe

Visual identity and poster series for an independent art space focused on solo exhibitions in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. The core of the design concept is the typeface "Grey Chicago", designed by Sarah Iller, one half of Korel Studio. The visual direction draws inspiration from classical type specimens: strictly black and white, with text set in cascading waterfalls of varying type sizes. We view our collaboration with Espace Annexe as mutualistic in a way; the artspace gains a strong visual identity for its programme, while the typeface itself receives a public platform.
